HealthTrack Dictation Demonstration
The Doctor Portal can be accessed on iPhone and Android devices, and through a web browser on a computer: Doctor Portal.
To dictate a letter, select the Dictation app to get started.
From the Dictation app, a letter can be recorded in two ways:
- From an existing booking displayed in the Diary layout
- Without a booking, by tapping the microphone icon at the bottom right of the screen.
- After tapping the microphone icon, choose the Dictate for Patient option.
- When prompted, you can search for an existing patient from your HealthTrack system.
After selecting a patient/booking, select the type of letter you wish to dictate, e.g. Letter to GP.
Tap the New icon at the bottom of the screen to begin recording the dictation.
- Speak your dictation clearly (e.g., 'Thank you for your referral. Stuart presented today in rooms as generally in good health.').
To stop recording, tap the Pause icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Continue icon to resume dictating the current letter.
- Tap the Done icon when you have completed the current recording.
When you have finished recording the current letter, tap the Create button in the top right.
- The recording will be uploaded and transcribed using AI, and the letter created automatically on the patient's record.
- After tapping the Create button, you can proceed to create an additional letter for this patient if needed.
The letter will be available in the Clinical Records tab of the patient's record within a few minutes of selecting the Create button.
Once the letter is visible in HealthTrack, it can be reviewed and finalised as required.
