How to tell staff what to bill
- Quick Bill is a feature to help automate the billing and invoicing process. It is designed for a user to add billable items to a patient’s account for addition to the invoice at a later time.
- Quick Bill can be accessed from the Diary by right clicking on the booking and selecting Quick Bill, or through the Accounts menu > Quick Bill from the main HealthTrack screen
How to Quick Bill an item for a patient
- Right-click on the patient's diary booking and select Quick Bill.
- In the Quick Bill screen, click in the Item Number field.
- You can either:
- Type in the item number you wish to charge.
- Scroll through the list to find the desired item.
- After adding item numbers, select Add Selected to Pending.
- You can choose to add another item number or select Close.

How to add a quick billed item to an invoice
- Close the patient's booking by right clicking on it and selecting Close.
- When the invoice screen opens, select the yellow Add Pending Items box to see the items added
- Ensure that the correct item numbers have been entered to avoid billing errors

- Select the item by clicking anywhere on the row to highlight it
- Select Add All Items to Invoice and select Accept
- The invoice screen will be displayed, with the added item number/s appearing in the Invoice Items table
- Continue with the billing process as usual
