How to set favourite medications

HealthTrack allows you to save medications as favourites, so frequently prescribed medications can be selected quickly and efficiently.

First, navigate to the patient's Clinical Summary tab and open the Medication Prescriber screen.

Select the Medication in the left-hand side and populate the required details.

Be sure to enter all required details so that this information is automatically filled in whenever the favourite medication is selected in the future.

For MIMS prescribing, update the pre-populated data if needed and enter additional information such as dose, frequency, instructions etc.
For non-MIMS prescribing, enter all required fields.

When prescribing favourite medications, always double-check the prescription for each patient. Pre-populated details, such as the route, may be correct for one patient but not suitable for another.

Then, select the Add To Favourites button.

When adding favourite medications, they can either be personal (me only) or for everyone to access.

Favourites can also be removed by right-clicking on the medication in the 'Favourites' list, and selecting 'Remove Favourite'.
