How to use Chart Tracking

Chart Tracking records where a patient's physical chart or medical record is currently located. It is useful for multi-location practices and for sites that use an off-site records storage facility. Each chart movement is logged with the user who made the change and the date and time.

View a chart's movement history

Double-click an entry in the chart history to view its details, or select the chart and press Info.

Manage chart storage locations

To access detailed Chart Tracking information, press the Manage button. Each storage location can be configured with its own characteristics and requirements (for example, room number, capacity, or off-site facility) via Configure Storage Locations button.
