How to configure Scribe Consult
HealthTrack Scribe can be accessed from the HealthTrack desktop application.
- Select HealthTrack Online from the top of the screen.
- A HealthTrack Online window will open with the current patient selected.
To view Scribe Configuration Settings:
- Select the microphone icon in the top right of the HealthTrack Web window.
- Select the cog icon.
- Select the Configure HealthTrack Scribe button.
Consult Types
The My Consult Types panel lists the Consult Types that you can select when creating a consult.
- There are two ways to add a new Consult Type:
- Click the Duplicate Consult Type button next to an existing Consult Type.
- Click the New button.
Consult Notes
- Each Consult Type has a Consult Note defined.
- This is used as a set of "instructions" to create an AI-generated Consult Note based on the consult transcript.
- HealthTrack provides a SOAP Consult Note by default. The SOAP Consult Note cannot be modified, but it can be duplicated for any customisation.
The Duplicate Template and New buttons can be used to create a new Consult Note or duplicate an existing one. For assistance, we recommend contacting HealthTrack Support.
Outputs
Each Consult Type can be used to generate various documents and letters (outputs) based on the Consult Note.
- Use the + and - buttons to add or remove an Output from the current Consult Type.
- Use the New button to create a new Output.
Each Output can be used for multiple Consult Types. Before editing an Output or associated documents, you should consider whether the desired changes will apply to other Consult Types.
- To update the Document Template, select the Upload Template button or Clone Letter Template button to clone an existing template.
- Within the document template itself, edits to the text and formatting can be made.
- Ensure you have added the tag for
[[EXT_AI Output]]. This tag should be placed where the AI-generated letter contents will be placed.

- The advanced configuration tool can be used to create custom prompts to refine template outputs.
If you provide HealthTrack with a set of anonymised patient letters, our team can generate a custom prompt that enables the AI to format letters consistent with your preferred style.
