Patient Worklists
The Patient Worklist provides a quick way to navigate between patients. It gathers names from different parts of HealthTrack and displays them in a simple, scrollable list.
What the Worklist Does
Collects patients from anywhere you see a Send to Worklist or To Worklist button.
Populates automatically after you:
- Send patients to the Worklist.
- Complete an Advanced Search.
- Request a list of Recent Patients.
- Appears on the left side of your HealthTrack main screen.
If a Worklist is already open, you may need to click it on your taskbar to bring it forward.
Navigating the Worklist
Selecting Patients
Click a patient in the list to open their record immediately.
- Use the Previous and Next buttons to move through the list one record at a time.
Searching Within the List
Use the search fields beneath column headings (e.g., Family Name).
The list filters as you type.
To restore the full list:
- Delete your search text, or
- Click the x button at the bottom of the list.
Filtering is useful for large Worklists when you only need a specific subset of patients.
Removing Patients
- Right-click the patient you want to remove.
- Select Remove row.
- The patient will be deleted from your Worklist.
Printing the Worklist
- Click the Printer icon.
- A preview report will appear.
- Print as needed for records or reference.
Save a Patient Worklist
The list of patients on your worklist can be saved to access again at a later date, or to share with another user. A saved worklist will only include the patients on the list at the time of being saved.
- Select the Manage button.
- Enter a List Name.
- Select or clear the Private checkbox to indicate whether other users can view this worklist.
- Select the Confirm button.
Load a Saved Patient Worklist
Once a worklist is saved, it can be accessed again.
- Navigate to Edit > Patient Worklist.
- Select the Manage button.
- Highlight the worklist you would like to view.
- Select the Load option.
- Select the Confirm button.
The Patient Worklist window will now populate the list of patients on this worklist at the time of being saved.
